I LIVE AGAIN.........again

I'm back guys ;-) From being urusetia at my school's Kem Perdana (full name too lazy to remember) last weekend. It was fun AND funny ! Had a lot of fun even though some bad things did happen and we were all tired DEAD. Sadly, no photos were taken since no electrical devices were allowed even for us urusetias D= Let's REWIND a bit shall we ?

Friday

Went to school with ALL my luggage. 1 backpack, 1 hand carry and 1 bucket filled with a blanket and pillow. Yes I'm a laughing stock walking around like that. Thank goodness no one laughed or even giggled, I saw other kids walking around with those stuff too so I felt comforted but then I freaked out about how everyone's stuff is WAYYYY less than mine. Went to class and dropped everything to rush to dewan to help with Chair Arrangements. OMG It was soooo tiring, I was practically a chunk of melting ice cube. Then when we FINALLY got to enjoy the show, I had to be called ALL the way to the kantin to arrange MORE chairs for the teacher's luncheon. UGHHHH well I don't really mind. Until they told us WE had to take chairs from our OWN classrooms and CARRY them ALL the WAY DOWN. Many thanks to Kantin B for belanja-ing us free drinks ^.^

We went back after all that drama and finally got to enjoy the show in peace. It was ok lah, but the whole school were talking ALL THE TIME so I can't really hear what the MC is saying at all. But I think they did an OK job lah, 'cuz their faces like very relaxed. The show ended at around 11 so I went to find Aud and Siaw (other urusetias) at the kantin. Quickly changed into my PJ (still used to calling it PT from camp) and gathered at our newly ROOFED basketball court. Teachers started going CRAZY asking questions that no one knew the answer to like "where is the registration teacher ?" Yea, it was a mess and we didn't know what to do since our Teacher in Charge weren't here. The teacherS were ALL so impatient even though all they're doing is shouting and asking useless questions and NOT helping sort things out. You know teacher, if you keep whining about delays, you'll be delayed as well =P

I've been assigned as AJK Makanan with Aud, Ah Tai, Jeck and others (Siaw got AJK Pendaftaran D= ) Obviously, our job is to take care of catering and preparing hot water (This sounds ridiculous. But it almost killed us). So our first assignment was to boil water in a HUGEEEEEE tub (took a few buckets to fill) and cook it under a tiny fire. CHALLANGE ACCEPTED ! Problem Statement : TOO SLOW B1**HES ! So our plan was hot water is used to make delicious MILO but it was too slow and some students need normal water soon (for Tea Break) so half (we're all called AJK Serbaguna now 'cuz of the earlier mess. The other half were setting up tents) of the AJKs had to take turns taking a huge tank to the IT building to get fresh DIAMOND water from the teacher's water tank (Oh teacher Claire, thank you for letting us take your hard-earned water *sarcasm*) By break time, the water was STILL boiling so no drinks =( and then NOT ENOUGH BREAD (WTF) poor students owh ! Well we got more later on but you still get the idea of how devastating it feels to wait in a long line only for the food to run out just before your turn. Kinda spoils your mood completely doesn't it ?

Dinner was a lot better since we had drinks and food made by the kantin ! All we had to do was serve them to the students. And by serve, I mean restrict them from taking too much XD Poor students (and urusetia) could only have 1 piece of TINY TINY TINY piece of meat. Same goes for urusetia but I guess we're a little luckier since we only eat after all the students are fed. So if there's extra, you can take more (of course, what if they're none left.....) And there were COLD DRINKS (half cup for students XD) 2nd round was unrestricted though (since I had to eat too XD) Skip to 11pm. We were waiting in the kantin for the students to come back for supper (they were at a ceramah in the dewan) and we all got high by chatting for almost a whole hour doing nothing (and it was raining so it was nice and cold) I'd rather avoid the talking that we were talking about but it was fun although I think it was a little bit harsh but that's what got us high (Pwahahaha). Oh yeah in case you didn't know. WE refer to:

Yes ! Belinda and Jeck are new students =D And we're friends already thanks to this camp. It served it's purpose by MAKING me talk to someone new and step out of my comfort zone. Sadly, they're both girls. I still need more guy friends since my last count was like what ? 1 ? Yep, definat need moar of thoze !

Saturday

We had to wake up at friggin 4.00 (well, the schedule said 4.30) in the morning ! And we only got to sleep at like 12 midnight. Much tougher than PLKN XD Then we had to do morning exercise. I'm sure everyone was shocked when they heard the urusetia had to exercise too XD After that, it was time for breakfast then latihan lasak (Teacher actually mispronounced it as LAKSA !) Since we only had 2 male urusetia, I was almost left alone without a station so I went with Ai San to go teacher hunting (asking for their signature/kehadiran). We ran alllll around the school like ROUNDS ROUNDS AND ROUNDS. (well at least I didn't have to carry umbrellas and chairs for teachers =P) After morning tea was Treasure Hunt, I asked the teacher to let me slide from this one 'cuz my rashes were acting UP UP UP ! again D= So I stayed with Michelle to clean up the canteen (The teacher for kebersihan was really unhappy with the dirty kantin) and take a quick shower (<3 Urusetia Privilages). Then I was BORED so I went to help Siaw at her station since she was alone (she was in the kantin so it was convenient). The students had to find a piece of color paper corresponding to their team color somewhere around the kantin but first they have to pass a test given by Siaw. She chose to make them do the Chicken Dance. OMG Brings back memories from camp T.T

After wasting a whole morning (YES ! It was JUST a morning....), Cikgu Zahirah told me go get the rope (from one of the obstacle course) for the Sukaneka later on (which means TUG O WAR, kids). DOOR WAS LOCKED =.= So me, Tiong and Gooi (PA students) had to jump across the fence to get the rope which was tied TIGHT to a pole. Thank goodness Gooi could push the rope out but I somehow hurt myself. A tiny wooden splinter pierced my poor palm when I was holding a stick to hike up the hill to get the rope. Audrey had to bring me to the IT office where she and Teacher Claire proceeded to remove the splinter BY MEANS OF INFLICTING MOAR PAIN D= Claire was like "Oh this is so fun. I get to have fun while inflicting pain onto someone else" Or something like that. Well, I just kept my eyes closed. I'm a very cautious person, so I prepared myself for a worse case scenario. Wouldn't want some sudden pain to trigger and my involuntary muscles make me go out of control and something even worse happen. Like.... BEING STABBED BY FORCEPS ! Then me and Aud had a little solo tug o war game, who would win ? We both had handicaps (my cacat palm and her swollen toe, from wearing her shoes for too long). Yay I WON =D (i think ? 0.0 )

Nothing much happened after that. I'd rather SKIP the actual Tug O War part because, well, I might actually be sued and expelled if I wrote it out for the whole world to see. And by night time, I was already sleepy and dead. Seriously, I'm really curious how the students could keep themselves so full of energy (they were practically doing exercise and running around the school the whole day) while WE (the urusetia) are almost dead. Maybe (VERY LIKELY) it's because they were always busy with the programs while we weren't so occupied (our schedule was quite flexible). I mean I'd definitely fall asleep if you just ask to sit down and watch some students talking and walking around for 2 hours. Anyways, they were having their Malam Kebudayaan (Tema ? Surprise surprise, 1 Malaysia....WHY am i not surprise ?) where every Unit Beruniform had to perform and they only had 2 hours or so to prepare. Obviously, I wasn't gonna sit there and watch them do it for 2 whole hours (and then wasting another hour watching them perform it out). Naturally I fell asleep....in the most awkward way possible. Everyone (half of the urusetia body) was upstairs (in the dewan) sleeping in secret (although it was sibeh obvious =.=) but I couldn't take the HEAT (much hotter then my tent even during day time) so I went back down and slept on a couple of chairs. Yes I was doing a free show for everyone to see my adorable sleeping face =3 All the teachers saw me too. Cikgu Neoh even made fun of me T.T (sarcastically) Thank God Audrey was next to me to wake me up when it was time to go back to prepare for supper. Or I would've been stuck there all night XD

Sunday

Didn't wanna wake up because my energy levels were TOO low ! But it was good to know that Sunday was the last day and I could finally go home in the afternoon. There was a Breakfast Preparing Contest in the morning and the food everyone had to make was Sardine Sandwich. Every urusetia was SELF-assigned to a badan beruniform. Me (WAS BEING SARCASTIC WTF) and Siaw rushed towards BSMM and that TICKED Aud off D= Then she went to help Pandu Puteri and I was all sad and stuff and she was like "Shut Up" and "Whatever" AND (*&(&%_)^^%_&^*&OT&TPY*&E*^&^)($^*HU%%%_&^$%^*&F*&$@^)*YP)*(*(*+8

FINAL MISSION: Take care of Albright ! I lost...oh but I manage to make him cry... I'm evil and I know it =( Well at least Aud was there so remedy the situation.....SLIGHTLY....the enemy kept targeting me D= Oh well, can't blame him for being so damn popular ;-) I had to babysit him for almost 2 hours. He even told me to bring him to the toilet and help him take his pants off (Those troublesome buttons gave me problems too when I was little). SO I DID IT......like a BOSS ! Lotsa stuff happened but I was SUPER GLAD that it was all over (poor students had a stand in marching formation for 3 hours+ ) Not so fast, whipper snappers ! We still had to serve LUNCH. Well at least most of the camp already went home so there were PLENTY of extras for US =D And it's CURRY CHICKEN <3 (Finally something EDIBLE !) Bro came to pick me up and we went home together happily ever after !

Monday

Aud and Siaw came over to my place to "do homework" KONON. Hah, as if that'll ever happen. Siaw brought her nail polish set (no, I'm not interested) so YEAH, we were never planning on doing our homework in the first place... I mean are you kidding me ? We just spent 3 days living in school and you want us to start our homework already (FYI, my poor blanket STILL smells like my tent). We ordered McD delivery for lunch and then everything became a blur (well, for me at least) Only Aud knew what happen =P Hah good luck making her tell YOU !

Tuesday

Today was ShnWei's (i keep forgetting to link you XD) turn to come to my place. Well she actually came to practice our duet for Music Fes which is like THIS FRIGGIN' SATURDAY (she thought it was Fri) and we're still making mistakes at least twice per playthrough. HELP ME T.T We're gonna lose again. No, I'm not blaming you, I made msitakes too, kay ? And apparently I've developed piano-phobia because of non-stop piano-ing from 12 till 5 playing THE SAME ******* SONG AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. Why couldn't we play something "funner" like Stupid Liar duet or something.

Wednesday

Happy Kaamatan ! I didn't know today was a public holiday until my mom told me this morning. ShnWei was suppose to come over everyday to practice but she said she'd like to be excused since it's a public holiday. Went to Popular at CityMall to do some FINAL back-to-school shopping (this is like the THIRD time). THIS TIMEEEEE I had to get notebooks for notes. I wanted to get some files too but I reminded myself not to waste money and just use those old ones from SPM since MOST of our teachers never gave us any specifications for our files except PA. Then I went to see the Pre-U Ref Book Section.

Maths T and Chemistry New Modular System Reference Books. Sadly (?) It's not Longman, it's Pelangi. Each priced around RM30.

I also bought a stack of Examination Sheet for my PA assignment since using the school's Kertas Kajang wouldn't look good when you put it into the PA file. I also got 5 Notebooks for notes in class. I got the cheapest one which costed RM1.60 each. 0.20 cheaper than the general ones.

I was like standing there at the Ref Book section for almost 30 min ++ while looking at the books, taking photos and sms-ing Aud 'cuz I couldn't decide whether to buy the book or not. I was VERY unsure about the book's content and quality and whether I'd be wasting my money now when a better book would be published tomorrow. The words "New Modular System" sounded fishy and I didn't really trust it thanks to Cikgu Bestah =.= So I placed them all back NICELY and proceeded to the counter to pay. Then I saw they had a bunch of ref books on the display shelf behind the counter just like the Chem and Maths T one, THEY HAVE PHYSICS ! I doubted a little but bought it in the end 'cuz mom was nagging me with "it's not about the money money money. it's about your studies studies studies" for the past hour. Honestly, Physics students (were suppose to buy their old ref books) are harder to find since the Science Stream class already got split in half. But Chemistry was compulsory so it was easier to hunt for those books down.

As a matter of fact, Abby told me Melia was selling her old ref books and I JUST HAD TO GRAB HER PHYSICAL CHEM BOOK. It was priced at RM5 SUPAH CHEAP NEDITNOW ! And Teacher Kong said she already pre-ordered Math T books for us (not sure if it's the Pelangi one) so I didn't buy that one too.

After that, we went to Tony Moly for their grand opening. Abby was working there part time for 2 days. Mom actually bought SOMETHING ! Eyeliner (i think) and some anti-aging moisturizer cream thingy. And my bro had his nails polished. Different color on different fingers. Ugh what is wrong with NAIL POLISH nowadays !!! Almost got my pinky polished, thank goodness I snapped out of it in time XD

And that's how my week pretty much went ! Here's some other stuff I bought over the past few weeks from Popular. I felt that I had to show them off since I've been to that place for like 3 TIMES !

The pencil case that me, Abby and Siaw found that day. The design was nice and it was cheap. Only RM8 or 9 ! The keychain was given to me by Wei Hwa from Kem. He bought it at Port Dickson when the kem brought those who didn't go home for CNY to Port D to have some fun. Thanks Wei Hwa <3 

This notebook was NOT cheap. It costed around RM6 but at least the cover and design was nice. And it's already wrapped so it won't get dirty or torn THAT easily. I only write IMPORTANT stuff in here because well...it's EXPENSIVE. Treasure those important to you =D

I <3 GREEN (and Blue). I just felt a little kiddy and HAD to get an additional color. Blue and Black all day is so boring and I thought I could spice up a little of my notes with an extra green pen around. THIS BABY is VERY expensive. Almost RM3 just for one pen. ShnWei said she got addicted before with the pens and got a huge bunch of 'em for RM40.

On a side note, I'm not sure how many of you know about this, but I lost my 4GB pendrive near the end of the year last year (you all know I love collecting data and intel) so now I'm stuck with a 5 year old 1GB pendrive.......UNTIL LAST NIGHT. I <3 YOU MOM ! Yay, now I got a super slick, super tiny, super easy-to-lose 16 GB Kingston Pendrive (my mom calls it Thumbdrive) I will take "good good" care of this =3
