Many Times Before...

First of all, I'd like to wish you a BELATED Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (more or less belated also). Thank you for reading my blog even though I'm not sure if you REALLY read it because of all the colossal amount of unwanted words and other unrelated topics. I apologize if this is going to be another post filled with IQ-lowering contents. Can't blame me though, I have a low IQ too ! So without further a due.

Both images have credits in the image so I guess credit is not due from me ! LOL. I've got a bunch of treats for you readers today. I know I've been neglecting this blog (Blogs has feelings too y'know) recently (yeah right... For the last 2 years !) and now I've been chosen for my national service program (PLKN) so I'll be gone for another 3 months ! Talk about not giving me a break. I hardly had time to enjoy my holiday after SPM and now I have to go for a camp trip in Selangor (It just HAD to be that far =.=) Back to the main story, I've been busy whipping up something really awesome (in my opinion anyway) for you guys. ESPECIALLY if you're a KKHS student (especially especially for Form 5 graduates) because I've raked up quite a collection of photo albums that was given to me by the kind KKHS computer specialists Mr Charles and Miss Janice ! The links are all below so you guys can check it out later on !

Some of my friends might've known that I went to Australia for about a week after SPM to get myself into the holiday mood. But boy oh boy, I just CAN'T BELIEVE those extremely crazy prices over there. I feel even more guilty about spending money this time around compared to the time I went there when I was in Form 4 (I can't say LAST YEAR anymore because it's already 2012). Well it was better and more relaxed this time because we rented a car over there. I always sleep in the car. MUHAHAHA and this time I got WIFI ! Well I have to PAY for it. 'cuz we live in an apartment this time. 5 Australian dollars for 1GB of Internet so surf the web wisely...Me and my brother used up a total of 8GB that means 40 dollars worth of cash. 40 multipled by three-point-something equals to AT LEAST RM120 (wow I just counted this and am terrified at how much I actually spent !) I also bought a book called House Rules which is about a boy named Jacob with Asperger's Syndrome and how his family deals with a autistic boy. I'm not really in to it yet but I find it rather interesting, to see how an autistic boy would react. For example: He went crazy and blew a tantrum at the supermarket just because one of the employee there whom always gives Jacob free sample on every Saturday at 11.45am was on leave. Then later on (first person view) Jacob says that he is fully aware of every thing that happen, including him blowing a tantrum but he couldn't have helped it. It really makes me curious how their minds work. NO OFFENSE ! I'm just trying to expand my horizon !

I've read A FEW reviews of it before I started reading the book because well, it has about 600+ pages of tiny tiny words so I wanna know what I'm working with before I dive myself into a boring story ! Apparently, the author took Jacob's autistic characteristics too far ! LOL, but I guess that's what makes it interesting. Another book which I bought from Australia when I was in Form 4 is the Facebook Effect !

I think the review said this book is a bit bias because the author LOVES Facebook. Oh well, it's an interesting tale so I don't mind. It's all about how Mark Zuckerburg made Facebook from scratch. It's more or less just like the Social Network movie. I got this book when the trailer was out because I was just too lazy to watch it. This book = Social Network + More details - Crazy parties, drugs and sex ! That's about the whole summary. Haven't finished this book too ! But what I REALLY had my eyes on while in Australia was the GONE series.

It's about how one day everyone above 15 years old suddenly disappeared ! No it isn't going to rain candy. Instead, gangs start forming and bla bla bla conflict (If you've read the Hunger Games, this MIGHT be somewhat a delightful dessert to compliment your main course) I saw this book TWICE in two different book stores. I became really interested on the last day but the book store I went to was OUT OF STOCK ! NOOOOO !!! And we've already returned our rented car so OH WELL =( No mysterious teenager novel for me. I'm actually qutie ok with this because the book spanned sequelS and it's not complete yet so I'd rather wait for it to be complete first...

Enough of my bookworm-ish habits. Now I wanna talk about weird stuff I see in the streets of Australia everyday (more specifically, Perth). There are street performers (NOT HOBOs) everyday, and it's even considered a profession ! A guy playing with a crystal orb, a girl that gives free hugs, a long horn pipe blower, an asian playing his er hu etc ! More importantly sadly, there were a few beggars on the few days that I visited the place. It's always the same thing. Teenagers sitting at the kaki lima with a cardboard that has a few words written on it. I only got a quick look at one of the teen's cardboard. It went something like :

I'm 17 and homeless and hungry. If you could, please spare some money for me. Thank You + Merry Christmas.
I felt sorry for the guy since he's only like 17 ! But he seemed to have some pretty trendy clothes and an "awesome" hair style so maybe something happened between him and his family (I'm still curious about where he got the cardboard and marker though. It seems like EVERY "homeless" has no problem finding one). The REALLY Awkward part was that he was one or two shops away from the long pipe blower guy. He's been blowing that thing for about 2 hours and he hardly got any money (It's safe to leave the case on the floor for donations because Australians know better than to steal ! Lol ) but the homeless boy was getting money constantly from passers by. Me and my bro each donated our money to 1 person that we thought deserved it (it really wasn't much. Seeing the insane currency over there). He gave his money to a guitarist/vocalist who had a pretty good voice. I gave mine to 2 girls who were doing violins. They had a card that said all donations were going to charity so I guess that would be worth it.

By the way, my dad is seriously PURE EVIL ! We were walking on the streets when we noticed a girl who has walking difficulties (she using poles). I tried to avoid to sad sight (no, not because I didn't care. It's because I can't stand sad stuff) but my dad made a remark that the girl should be a zombie in Walking Dead (how offensive =.=) because of her posture when walking. Of course, the joke was ON him because he didn't say Walking Dead. He said Walking Die =.= It's still remembered till this day. Like seriously, last week my dad was asleep upstairs so me, my bro and mom went to fix up some instant spaghetti (Compliments of Abby and Nick for my Brother !) and we just couldn't help talking about Walking DIE ! We laughed, we're evil too. He also told us that he would give the poor homeless boy money if either me and my bro went to take a photo with him.... If that isn't inhuman then I don't know what is...

Travel back in time and we'll arrive at the final days of High School. About a fortnight before graduation, absence in class was already on the rise ! Everyone was thinking that it'd be much more convenient, effective and comfortable to study at home....or at least at the library. I still kept my perfect attendence (well it was already IMperfect but I had to mantain it somehow) cuz I enjoyed school ESPECIALLY when NO TEACHERS COME INTO CLASS ! I dunno why but it was free period EVERYDAY. Charies even brought her phone and earphones to school for one day. I moved to Crystel's row because EVERYDAY either Crys, Charis or Jeag Man won't come so there's always an empty seat. Now if you're asking about determination about the up-coming(ed) SPM examination, I could tell you that I was very laid back about everything. I was still falling asleep in class and chatting with Charis and Crys ! I was trying to treasure my final days in high school which was sooo ***** hard because SPM comes RIGHT after graduation... Well, at least our class was quiet. Graduation was pretty exciting. Cameras were flashing everywhere around the room and everyone was smiling (but only for the lasting impression. I don't think they'd really wanna smile on such a sentimental day)... I'll let most of the pictures do the talking this time. Since I'll be leaving very soon in a few hours. I don't really have much time to write !

SPM was really anti-stress for me. Either that, or I already unknowingly had a mental breakdown. But it was really funny (or amusing) to see everyone trying to cram for the final few minutes of the exam... While I just stood there grinning or giggling. Thanks Aud ! You've made my SPM less scrary ! But just because I'm smiling and not stressing my hair off about it doesn't mean I'm already ready (hypocrite much ?) It just means that, well, it's funny ! At least it IS better than stressing. Honestly, 1 month ago, I was thinking of scary stuff during SPM... Such as:

  1. Deactivation of Facebook Account (thanks to someone else's idea)
  2. 24/7 NO LAPTOP ! (Well, except for weekends I guess)
  3. Tuition non-Stop !
  4. No more piano lessons for the month
  5. I won't have time to socialize much anymore
  6. No more entertainment or FUN :(
Oh and on Sunday night I told MOm I needed my IC and she was all shocked and said "WHAT ! *heart attack* Your IC is at the safe over at the bank" *BANGS HEAD* well not really, my face was acting neutral 'cuz I was ALSO having a seizure/heart attack but I wouldn't wanna show it 'cuz PANIC IS NOT THE KEY... Thank goodness mom found it in our safe at home, she also found a note that the last time we brought it back from the bank was when we came back from our vacation last year. Apparently, thanks to my SPM excuse, we didn't really travel anywhere. Once again, this IS an excuse, I really hate traveling because years I'm already a couch potato (TV Tangerine LOL) so I just said that I'd want to concentrate on SPM. They can go without me but mom insisted that we go together as family... LOL

And guess what ? I almost lost my IC TWICE ! First time was in school after my Sejarah papers and the second time was at the library. Twice on the same week... I'm devestated and it's making me over-protective ! I usually pack on Jeag Man's table after the final paper of the day but I guess I was too drunk with despair that I left my IC on her table. Normally I would just backtrack and found it on her table later on since I stayed in school with Vyon to practice our Maths that day but it wasn't there so I had to pray for Jeag Man to say "Tam Kang, I got your IC ah" which was really what happened. Thank GOD ! Another time was on Friday (there's no SPM on Fridays) in the library. I've made sure that all of my books were WELL STACKED and ORGANIZED before heading out to the nearby restaurant for lunch. I took with me my IC (which I kept in my pencil case) because it's important ? and my "locker" card (there's really no point though, I already emptied my bag. If you wanna steal stuff from my bag, it's ALL on the table, arranged and ready for you LOL) but by the time I came back I couldn't find it anymore. I thought that the last possible place it would be with was with my mom because she told me I should give her my IC because well, I'm not trustworthy ? I slipped it in on the ride to the restaurant but I FORGOT !? When I went home at about 7, I asked my mom whether she took my IC and she was like "NOOOO.....what ? you lost your IC again ? Quickly show it to me" Gosh, I had to create multiple distractions to keep her mind off my IC until I get home where I can do a proper search (and IT WORKED !) I was like "here's the change from lunch" "oh it's not in my pocket ? Then it must be in my pencil case" "Did you know I studied Moral today ?" a lots of junk. As soon as I got home, I searched EVERYWHERE ! But searching everywhere was hard when your mom was right downstairs talking to your grandparents ! After praying and freakin' out (I swallowed my dinner in a few minutes) about this, I went back to my mom's purse. The first time I checked it, I only check the wallet in the purse but this time I went through the WHOLE thing and I FOUND IT. Then I proceeded to lecture mom for giving me the heart attack of my life. !

OK I'm just MINUTES away from leaving to the airport and obviously there ISN'T enough time for me to talk about EVERYTHING I wanna talk about. So I'll leave you guys with all the photos I've collected (and stole) this year. Hope you guys honour the gift of sharing and please credit before you use them. LOL ! I'll be back in 3 months time ! Buh Bye Peeps !
