Oh yes, the sweet smell of victory ! Finally able to wake up early (free will) in the morning feeling I accomplished something ! I'm totally in the mood now ! Gonna do LOOOTTTSSS OF STUFF TODAY ! (Workaholic Mode) Not that I'm already working or anything but it's an expression...

Ever heard of Oricon Charts ? Ever heard of the Billboard ? Oricon Charts is the japanese version of Billboard and they also rank music so it's pretty much the same...I took a peak a few days ago and was totally surprised at most of the music I saw (singles category)...They were nothing like those happy-go-lucky anime opening themes (y'know besides that Death Note opening that goes "F***F***F***F***F***") you hear all the time. Also, there aren't many anime openings that made it to the Oricon Charts :(. Some of it even included rock and they are some songs that sound like what you grandparents would sing in karaoke...I heard Gee and Genie (by SNSD) !! Gee managed to peak at 2 but I noticed that it's very hard for your rank to go up once you get on the charts. Well, it's really hard to describe it 'cuz it's really rojak...there's MV that shows a woman doing laundry......IN DIFFERENT ROOMS (ZOMGWTF)

I HAAATEEEE MYYYSEEELLLFFFF...When night time comes, I get sooooo hyped and the internet connection speed MULLLLTIIIPLIEED. How could I go to bed knowing the fact that my laptop is calling out to me ! OMG, I'm going crazy ! And what about studying ? ARRRGGGHHH !
Mom got a new book for herself, and I seem REAALLLLYYY interested in reading it but once again my plans were foiled by my lack of control over my own body T.T

HobbyCON End ?

OKOKOKOK !!! Day 2 and final day of HobbyCON 2010 was YESTERDAY (I'm blogging this on a Monday) I thought I'd fill you in because I've just noticed that the date system on my blog is completely messed up (from the beginning) so I won't be able to keep tabs on my activities ! XO

Anyways, the last day of HobbyCON, not as many cosplayers as the first day but waaaayyyyy to many visitors ! The Dragons and Dungeons booth was STILL FULL !!! And the PS3 Gamer's Concept one was too ! I saw a few people playing D&D they were like writing SOOOO many things on a piece of paper. Like doing homework or something. I had lunch at Big Apple.....something something DONUTS (Viv, you're jealous ?) with Kent and his dad and cousins whom I have never met in my entire life (Dickson and Crystal) Awesome cousins, I have to admit. They don't look like adults at all =.= (my type :X) Then I saw Ashley !!! She managed to get a seat...(Kent likes to stand...ALOT !) She was holding a Vindi size Green Tea Cream Ice Blended from Starbuckssss....I couldn't resist and ran to Starbucks to get a grande one...Then RANNNNN back to the scene, I was at the sides this time so I couldn't get a very good view of the cosplay contestants !

Surprisingly, some of Day 1's consplayers joined forces and formed a team consisting of Allen Walker, The Full Metal Alchemist girl (Now dressed as someone that looks like Little Red Riding Hood), The Holy Priest Guy and The yellow girl from Porkloin Vocaloid. The other 3 teams are Fantasy Rider (Aaron from FF10 and a random kamen rider), A team composed of cosplayers based on Ragnarok and RANDOM 40K !!! The giant thousand ringgit robot team ! The angel of death makes her official debut =.= (they're totally claiming 1st prize).

Fantasy Rider did a fight sequence. First it was a normal fight (kamen rider-ish) with epic music then they suddenly jumped away as the music changed to FF10 Battle Theme, and then they started attacking each other by taking turns (and you can hear the sound when you choose a command, like *bink*bink**fancy noice=damage) the guy from FF10 WON ! Lawl, sorry kamen rider :)

NEXT TEAM ! The 2 girls did the intro, Riding Hood was holding a flower, Vocaloid Girl was holding a bottle. Then she threw her bottle to the ground, and when Riding Hood wasn't looking she stole her flower. Riding Hood demanded it back but she just wouldn't give it back even after a slap so Riding Hood prepared for one hell of a fight but Vocaloid Girl suddenly gave the flower back (scared :P) Then EVIL Allen Walker walked up the stage and scared the 2 girls with his friggin' funny/evil laugh. Then he sniffed the girl's flower and SNEEZED VERY LOUD (without mic), got angry and proceeded to PWN the 2 girls. The holy priest guy appeared and they fought, while they were clashing Riding Hood let Allen sniff her flower and he sneezed AGAIN and got weaken and stuff. Then suddenly Riding Hood did a dance (like 4 min long !) while Holy Priest guy and Vocaloid Girl stood at the back and Allen was kneeling (weakened)...Me and Kent think it's a "purification" spell. They got back up but I dunno what are they saying (no mic) and then they bow....but not before Riding Hood's flower got too close to Allen again and he SNEEZED again !

THIRD TEAM, the Ragnarok fanboys (and girls) ! They did a DANCE, really confusing ! Everyone is moving here and there, they all have their own choreography ! I got a headache, it's just too fast =.= But I guess that means a lot of thought has been put into it ! They all dress in different outfits symbolising different jobs/classes in Ragnarok, I thought they were classics like Archer and Warrior but they came out with something like Minister (dressed like a pirate !) and Taekwan....Oh well...

Last but not least ! RANDOM 40K !1! They did an act ! They thought one step ahead of everyone and recorded their voices together with the music so EVERYONE can hear them. The angel deity was like (with a friendly girl voice) "I know a place that sell very good food" then the Space Marines (robot men) are like "Shut the **^^$%^ (they censored it of course) up" Then they talk talk talk and SWORE SOMEMORE...In the end, the ENTIRE (depending of the volume of the stereo system) CityMall got RICKROLLED BY THEM, seriously they were like singing along (or at least lip-synching) and then shaking their bodies around (you don't expect them to dance with those costumes right ?)

*Surprisingly, there wasn't a single Fairy Tail cosplayer, well there was 1 on Day 1 but he only had their logo with an unknown outfit..*

We were ALLLLLL BORED (ran in to TYY but she left early) so we (me, Kent, Dickson, Crystal) decided the ride the smooth rail (not stairs-type) escalator up and down FOR MULTIPLE TIMES 'cuz their mom was doing her shopping. Thanks for the ride home ! Sorry I troubled you ("but you are the good people" Kent quoted). All in ALLLLLLL it was AWESOME ! Hope to come back next year (hopefully it's AFTER SPM) and pray I get an awesome camera ! Stay TUNE ! BYEEEEEE.....

HobbyCON was FUN today ! I teamed with Kent to WALK AROUND the place. So many people, so MUCH JAM ! Anyways, after walking for hours, I've seemed to have taken a liking for Dragons and Dungeons and the PS3 BOOTH WAS ALWAYS full . I've met soooo many people like Donut-Chan, Yong Kwong, Nicholas W, Loo, Jiaen, Samuel, Yen Zhing and LIGHTNING ! I wonder what it'll be like tomorow ? Should be fun :) Hope to see MORE people, and look out for the cosplay contest (group) ! Now for the epilipticly bad quality photos which I can always take with my REALLY bad quality camera phone...I'm sure Jiaen had some better photos on her Facebook page !

Contestant No.3 dressing up as I dunno (perhaps a holy priest ?). Gave us a WONDERFUL (for a guy) song...

Cosplayer No.4 ALLEN WALKER FROM D GRAY MAN a.k.a Alex (Wong Soon Lok)'s older brother ! ALSO SAAAANNNNNGGGG (Alex, I wanna see you sing next year :)

He also did LOTS OF POSES which involved his CLAW =.=

Cosplayer No.5 dressing up as someone from a Mahou Shojo Anime. And did an energetic dance (with Lip Sync !) Could've smiled more though :)

Cosplayer No.6 dressed up as the famous Haruhi Suzumiya from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya ! Sang God Knows, even though she got a few keys wrong, she SANG (REALLY LOUD) with ALLLLLL HER MIGHT...

Cosplayer No. 7 dressed up as a character from Death NOte ! She did a korean dance, which was quite ok (to my dismay T.T)

Cosplayer No.8 was AWESOME, not only was she PRETTY but her scythe was really something (plus her facial expression) though I'm not sure what anime is she from...

Cosplayer No.9 dressed up as a non-anime character, in fact it was someone from WARHAMMER ! And insanely thick armor and REALLY loud (without Microphone) scream got everyone cheering !

He did an inspirational CHEER slash not really much of anything because you can't really move MUCH in that ! Like it takes him 10 seconds to get down from stage everytime ! This is insane I tell you ! I mean he went on stage for like 5 times yesterday !

3rd place goes to Haruhi Cosplayer !

2nd place to the cute older girl. I thought she'd had no chance at all after seeing her performance. She was doing a synchronized dance with her scythe then when's she's swinging it around and turning really fast, it blade of the scythe suddenly came off and cut somebody's head off ? She had to retreat after that (like after 1 minute) The DJ described the scythe as to being TOO POWERFUL !

1st place goes to the giant mecha guy (after I saw that, I was sure the judges were only judging from the costume and not much on the talents or else the Full Metal Alchemist girl would've gotten something)
